For over two decades, empowering communities and transforming lives through justice, equality, and dignity.

we're an Initiative of

Dalit Manavadhikar Kendra Samiti

Rajasthan has been a feudal state, glimpses of which can still be seen in the villages, in this social system the Dalits are the most affected by caste discrimination. Caste discrimination is at its peak in all the districts of Rajasthan, the situation of caste discrimination is even worse in the districts of Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer of western Rajasthan. Even today, Dalits are not allowed to sit on the village Chaupal in the villages of Rajasthan. They cannot go out wearing shoes in front of the fort (Rawala), cannot go out sitting on a bicycle, Dalit bride and groom cannot sit on a horse, Dalits are not allowed to use public places, Dalits’ hair is not cut, Dalits cannot use the rights given by the Constitution, there is a flood of cases of caste discrimination.
For a long time, Advocate PL Mimroth used to raise their voice through different mediums and forums and used to meet the victims, visit the crime scene, due to which he got the opportunity to understand the pain of Dalits of entire Rajasthan in depth. He found that when the victims saw the case registered against the accused in the police station about the incidents, he thought that a center should be established at the state level to help the victim Dalits, from where the victims can get immediate help. Due to this, it was decided to establish Centre Dalit Rights, Rajasthan in Jaipur and work intensively on the ground level for Dalits and women. In its initial days, it was operated from the house of PL Mimroth in Roop Nagar. At that time, he had only a few workers, among whom Ramdayal Bairwa, who is currently a permanent employee at Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Padam Sen, who is currently a teacher in Dausa, Chanda Lal Bairwa, who is currently an advocate and actively works as an associate with Meemrauth ji in the Centre Dalit Rights, Tarachand Verma, who is currently an advocate in Jaipur, and Mahavir Bhati, who is an advocate in Pali, were the prominent ones.
